BioWell, I thought that it was time for an update to the old bio....
About me: I'm every woman. The career girl, the activist, the poet, the singer, the philosopher, the scientist, the spiritual type, an energy worker, the outdoorsy type, the harley chick, the wine drinker, the beer drinker, the one that loves power tools, music, lectures and museums. I will sit for hours and play the same damn game of spider solitaire over and over again, because I'm stubborn and bull-headed almost to a fault. I know there is no such thing as a problem without a solution; I'm subtle as a chainsaw, and have been known to resort to using a sledgehammer.
I'm a computer programmer by trade, but also dabble in entrepreneurship, writing, singing, advocacy and philanthropy. I love reading, hiking, camping, working with energies, studying religions and spiritualism, learning and pontificating... helping others, and trying to better myself. Still trying to figure out a few mysteries like why I'm able to grasp onto an energy pattern and pull a headache out of someone, why I involuntarily knock out parking lot lights, and why I can't wear a watch. I am about to start studying Reiki to help find these answers.
I have a wonderful b/f, and we've just bought a $4000 (no, I did not miss a 0, its in that bad of shape its actually $4K) fixxer-upper house that we plan to transform into our very own asian dream palace!

Additional: Although I come up with great ideas at times, and have been known to invent brilliant schemes to improve the world, there is a flip side that comes with my creativity. I frequently struggle to gain more control over my darker moods, so one of my lovely LJ friends thought it would be a good idea to collect hugs in my hug bank so I can come here and get hugs when I am sad. Thanks to Kshandra for setting up the hug bank for me!
